My new ride

Watch out East Nashville!!! Brent and I have new rides and are taking it to the streets...... Whatever idiot said you never forget how to ride a bike is a damn liar, sort of like those people who yell at you that "it's all downhill from here". And seriously, why don't any of you tri-people talk about how hard these dang bike seats are!! Ouch!!!

Anyway, we're about to hit the gym so I will take more about the fun times we've had on two wheels later!

I'm with you on the seats. I am not sure how people can stand riding on those things for that long. Have fun with the new bikes.

i just borrowed my friend's road bike. the first time i tried to get on it, i fell over and almost hurt myself. (and the 1000$ bike!)

it's not easy, and i'm probably not taking it out until i have supervision.

(but after that, i'm going to keep up with you guys!!)

Wow new rides, cool! Ditto with the seats, I don't know how the Tri people can sit on a bike so long (but I guess you'll let us know, right ;-)

Awesome!!

Shorts. Are you wearing nicely padded shorts? It makes all the difference...

I can't wait to hear all about it!

Rae,

Love your new ride. 3 years ago when i start riding again, 2 hrs on the road and my ass hurt like hell.

Now I can sit on my saddle for 7 hours and not feeling it. If you saddle hurts, I suggest getting some bike spandex shorts with padding. I wouldn't recommend getting a gel seat. Gel seat, from waht i heard isnt' that good for your back (if u need me to dig some proof, i think i can find them on the net).

THanks for the continuous encouragement :)..enjoy riding..who knows..maybe someday u will be...dare I say.. a TRIATHLETE :D...

Yeah, and those who yell "you're almost there!" and you know darn well it's at least more than a mile from the finish.
