Rae + The Don = One Good Time

Hey guys! I promise once we return from vacation I'll be back into running posting and leaving comments for all you guys but right now all my non-work time is spent booking stuff for our vacation! Thanks to everyone who has left comments with suggestions of what to see!!! Let us know if there's anything we absolutely can't miss. We love to try new things and try our best to get the 'real' experience on every vacation we take. If it wasn't for traveling I wouldn't love New England clam chowder, apple cider (Vermont!), Italian sodas (thanks Seattle!) & we would've never tried Buffalo burgers (Montana!!)

So, tonight I booked our Atlantic City room. We wanted to stay on the boardwalk, on the beach. When I came across some great rates for the Trump Taj Mahal I knew we had to stay there. It's complete with all the 80's gaudiness you'd expect from Trumpster. I can't wait!!!! Nothing beats casinos, the ocean, and the boardwalk. And I bet it will be full of old ppl!! I can only hope they have my favorite slot machine - Dick Clark's Rockin New Years Eve!

We had another fantastic 80 degree day here. We went out to lunch at the local California-style burrito place and ate out on the patio. Tons of people were eating inside which I totally don't get since these great Indian summer days won't last forever. Tonight we took Pips out for a walk just to spend a few more minutes out in it. I've been overdressing for our morning walks every day - this morning it was 60 degrees and I had my thermal shirt, 2 jackets, 2 pairs of pants and gloves on. I'm a nut. I thought about taking a picture but since I look like death warmed over when I wake up I decided not to.

Time to get some sleep!

Rachel

Exercise -
1 mile am walk with Pips, 40 minutes toning/stretching (booty & upper body), 2/3 mile evening walk with Pips and Brent

Have fun on your trip! I did the NJ/NY/PA journey in spring 2004 when I visited my brother. So much fun stuff to do there. I know you guys are going to have a blast!

I hope you have a great trip. You have to take the trolley tour and do a jitney ride. Take a ride out to Gardners Basin and have lunch at the Flying Cloud. Atlantic City is a lot more than casinos. Shopping is a must at the Walk
